| She is a classically trained mezzo soprano with a contemporary and crossover repertoire in several languages and appears in concerts in Greece and abroad (United States, Germany, Switzerland, China, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, Israel, Turkey, Poland etc.), where both audiences and press embrace her with great enthusiasm.
Her most significant album so far is “Betty Harlafti in the world of Mikis Theodorakis” and is produced by the Greek National Radio & Television Corporation (ERT) and its Symphony Orchestras. This places Harlafti among the few singers in her country who have recorded a personal album with a symphony orchestra. |
Mezzo-soprano de formation classique, elle propose un répertoire contemporain et éclectique en plusieurs langues. Elle se produit en concert en Grèce et à l’étranger (États-Unis, Allemagne, Suisse, Chine, Belgique, Chypre, Finlande, Israël, Turquie, Pologne, etc.), où elle est accueillie avec enthousiasme par le public et la presse.
Son album le plus marquant à ce jour, « Betty Harlafti dans l’univers de Mikis Theodorakis », est produit par la Société nationale grecque de radiotélévision (ERT) et ses orchestres symphoniques. Harlafti fait ainsi partie des rares chanteuses de son pays à avoir enregistré un album personnel avec un orchestre symphonique. |
| Betty embraces the ideas and ideals inspired both by her upbringing and the universal personality of Mikis Theodorakis and passes them on through her artistry.
In March 2019 she was invited to Brussels to perform Mikis Theodorakis’ emblematic oratorio Canto General, where she shared the stage with great La Badinerie Choir, for the 70th Anniversary of the Declaration of Human Rights. This was her debut concert of Canto General, after Mikis Theodorakis himself urged her to include it in her repertoire. |

En mars 2019, elle a été invitée à Bruxelles pour interpréter l’oratorio emblématique de Mikis Theodorakis Canto General, où elle a partagé la scène avec le chœur de La Badinerie, qu’elle juge remarquable, à l’occasion du 70ième anniversaire de la Déclaration universelle des droits de l’homme. |

| A month after Theodorakis’ passing, in October 2021, she was invited in Istanbul by Zülfü Livaneli to give a symphonic concert in his memory. The concert, was dedicated to World Peace.
On September 2nd 2023, she was assigned by the Greek National Television the biennial memorial concert for Mikis Theodorakis. The concert was broadcast all over Greece and worldwide through the ERT platforms. At the moment, the international, multilingual version of her album with Mikis Theodorakis’ works is about to be released while she keeps touring in Greece and abroad performing vast repertoire of world music. |
Un mois après le décès de Theodorakis, en octobre 2021, elle a été invitée à Istanbul par Zülfü Livaneli pour donner un concert symphonique en sa mémoire. Ce concert était dédié à la paix mondiale.
Le 2 septembre 2023, la Télévision nationale grecque lui a confié le concert biennal commémoratif de Mikis Theodorakis. Le concert a été diffusé dans toute la Grèce et dans le monde entier sur les plateformes ERT. Actuellement, la version internationale et multilingue de son album avec les œuvres de Mikis Theodorakis est sur le point de sortir tandis qu’elle continue de tourner en Grèce et à l’étranger en interprétant un vaste répertoire de musique du monde. |
